Slap-bang in the middle of the Lanes, The Black Lion, with a history dating back more than 500 years, transforms daily from bustling foodie pub to one of Brighton’s busiest late-night venues featuring live bands, DJs and an extensive cocktail list.

Enter the magical and mysterious world of The Mesmerist in the heart of the Lanes. The venue spans three floors and has been recently refurbished, exuding style and sophistication while retaining its Brighton charm and quirkiness.

The venue has four bars so you'll never need to queue too long for a drink, and features all your favourite drinks.

This 70's inspired cocktail lounge is housed in the refurbished first floor of one of the most well-known and much-loved institutions, The Mesmerist.

Taking its inspiration from the era that heralded the Soul Train movement, music at The Flipside is iconically soul and funk while the décor is unashamedly retro, where kitsch meets cool and you’ll think you’ve stumbled onto the set of a Boogie Nights or Studio 54 reboot. 

Feel the funk from our cocktail menu featuring our take on classics that were all the rage in the 70s with a few twists that The Mes is known for. 

Enjoy waterfront drinks and dining at The Watershed - the newly refurbished bar and restaurant at the Brighton Marina Yacht Club.

This floating venue in the heart of the marina is nestled among the yachts and sailboats moored there, rising and falling with the tides creating a relaxing place to eat, drink and socialise.

Local craft brews sit alongside international draught brands, bottled beers and a good selection of quality wines and spirits. They also serve fine teas and barista coffees.

Post House Cafe is one of the newest additions to the food and drinks scene in Brighton.  Located in the bustling Lanes district, it occupies the site of the original Post Master's cottage dating back to 1870.

The food menu specialises in tapas and small plates, as well as brunch during the week and one of the best roasts in Brighton every Sunday.  The bar list features international wines, craft beers and expertly mixed cocktails.

Post House Cafe is spread across two beautifully restored floors and has a 'secret garden' featuring murals by local artists.
